Pianist born in 1985 in Wałbrzych in Poland. Graduated and now assisting prof. Alicja Kledzik in Academy of Music in Poznan. Laurate of the first prizes in piano competitions: in Rome (2004), Val Tidone (2005) and Racconigi (2006) in Italy, Adilia Alieva Competition in Gaillard (2008) in France, Halina Czerny Stefanska Competition in Poznan (2008) in Poland.
He performed with Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra ’Amadeus’, Beethoven Academy Orchestra and Symphony Orchestras of Cracow Philharmonic, Koszalin Philharmonic, Sudetes Philharmonic, Lower-Silesia Philharmonic, Plock Philharmonic, Świętokrzyska Philharmonic and Szczecin Philharmonic under the baton of such conductors as: Agnieszka Duczmal, Marek Pijarowski, Paweł Przytocki, Jacek Rogala, Ruben Silva, Marko Ivanovič, Grigorij Krasko and Jakub Chrenowicz. He played Inauguration concert of concert season 2013/2014 in Montenegro National Philharmonic, 2010/2011 in Sudetes Philharmonic, Final concert of the Polish Pianism Festival in Słupsk in 2009.
Przemysław Witek is often playing in chamber concerts and he has worked with such musicians as Benedict Klöckner, Jiři Kabat, Anna Maria Staśkiewicz, Katarzyna Budnik-Gałązka, Janusz Wawrowski and Bartosz Woroch. He played his recitals in all the major cities of Poland and made solo concert tours in: USA, China, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Ukraine and Russia. Mr. Witek made archival recordings of Karol Szymanowski works for the Vatican Radio in 2004 and 2012. In March, 2011 Polish Radio and Ponte Art Production have released his debut album „Décadence” with the works of Szymanowski and Rachmaninov. In 2014 he made world premiere recording of Andrzej Nikodemowicz Piano Sonata and Polish Premiere Recording of Mieczysław Weinberg piano works.
Przemysław Witek is the artistic director of the ’May Music Meetings’ in the Valley of Palaces and Gardens in Kotlina Jeleniogórska.
