DSJ_1903mProf. Marek Gandecki, graduate of Professor Janusz Dzięcioł’s conducting class at Poznań Academy of Music. Prizewinner of the 4th National Conducting Competition in Poznań, Poland (1992)

Founder and conductor of the Paderewski Chamber Choir, awarded with such prestigious prizes as the Jerzy Liban Grand Prix “Ruby Lute” at the 46th National Choir Tournament LEGNICA CANTAT in Legnica, Poland (2015) and Grand Prix at the Grieg International Choir Festival in Bergen, Norway (2016).

Founder and conductor of the MUSICA VIVA Chamber Choir of Poznań University of Economics, whose awards include Grand Prix at the 21st International Choir Festival in Sligo, Ireland (2008) and Grand Prix at the 25th International Choir Festival PRAGA CANTAT in Prague, Czechia (2011).

Founder of the CASTELLUM CANTANS Choir of the Kórnik Castle and its conductor in the years 1999–2013.

Juror of numerous choir competitions and festivals. Instructor of conducting workshops organized by the National Music Forum in Wrocław as well as choir masterclasses in Polish cities of Warsaw, Wrocław, Gdańsk and Opole. Instructor of management training organized by Bernard Brunhes Polska (BPI Group) in the form of lectures and workshops related to leadership, team management and creativity and dedicated to senior and middle management personnel of leading Polish and international enterprises.

Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Choir Conducting, Music Education and Church Music at the I. J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. Supervisor and reviewer of doctoral and postdoctoral dissertations.
