The year 2022 marks the 100th birthday anniversary of Professor Andrzej Koszewski – a distinguished composer, creator of magnificent choral works, researcher of Chopin’s works and a long-standing teacher at the Poznań Academy, whose graduates are now composers and pedagogues well known in Poland and abroad. On this occasion, the Chair of Composition, in collaboration with the Chair of Theory of Music and the Faculty of Instrumental, Jazz and Pop Music, are preparing a series of events dedicated to the Professor. These will take place as part of the 16th Composers’ Forum in Poznań on the 16th and 17th of November 2022 – a concert with the Master’s works is planned, as well as lectures and meetings.
