Guide of the Musical Theatre Study Centre 2025-2026 (in Polish)
The Musical Theatre Study Centre of the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań offers full-time, paid, three-year studies to meet the increasing popularity of the genre in Poland.
The training program has been designed to promote balanced development of the student in three main areas: singing, dancing and acting. The program also includes subjects that enable students to complete the basic knowledge of music, develop their musical hearing, and learn the history of the musical. The schedule includes such subjects as musical singing and classical singing as individual classes as well as basics of classical dance, stage movement, musical dance, basics of acting, diction and recitation, vocal ensembles, ear training, music studies, history of the musical, and the English language.
Education at the Study Centre will be crowned with the international StageSchool Musical Theatre exam. It will take the form of a musical performance judged by an expert from the United Kingdom. The exam will be held at Level 8 (RSL Level 3 Certificate in Musical Theatre Performance – Grade 8 (QCF)), and the diploma obtained has the status of an international diploma, i.e. the examiner is accredited by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). The graduate receives a certificate.
What is StageSchool Musical Theatre Exam?
The Musical Theatre Study Centre is a full-time course according to the academic calendar of the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań.
In order to complete the course, students are required to complete the minimum curriculum, and may also pursue optional subjects from the academic schedule.
