General Admission Requirements
Terms and Conditions of the Application and Admissions Process_2026-27
1. All undergraduate (first-cycle) and graduate (second-cycle) Applicants are required to register and apply online only. The application will be available on 20th April 2026 and is due by 25th May 2026, 23:59 CET. Electronic registration link: click.
2. Entrance exams will be held as follows:
a. First-Cycle (Bachelor’s) Programme: 22nd – 24th June, 2026
b. Second-Cycle (Master’s) Programme: 29th – 30th June, 2026
Exact time and date will be specified for each course and communicated via e-mail by 16th June 2026.
3. To register, Applicants are required to submit scans of all prescribed documents.
a. A scan of a signed application form printout, generated once the online application is complete.
b. A photo to issue an Electronic Student Card, file format JPEG or PNG, minimum size 500 x 625 pixels, which ensures good print quality in a 2 by 2.5 cm format.
File formats other than listed in point 3b) are unacceptable.
c. confirmation of payment issued for the entry exam: 3. All applications must be accompanied by an application fee specified by the Minister of Science and Higher Education payable to Akademia Muzyczna im. I.J. Paderewskiego w Poznaniu:

The amount of the recruitment fee for the academic year 2026/2027 is PLN 150 (per one major; in case of applying for admission to more than one major, the candidate pays a multiple of the fee corresponding to the number of majors). The recruitment fee is non-refundable.
d. Exam selections (applies to all courses and specialisations).
e. Applicants for whom the language of instruction (Polish or English) is not a native language are required to submit a B2 (or higher) level certificate to confirm their language proficiency. The documents are specified by the Regulation of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education of 30th July 2025.
If successfully qualified for admission, Applicants will be asked to submit the original documents and a photo signed on the back, sized 35 x 45 mm (digital and print-out photos must be equivalent).
4. Applicants are required to appended the following documents:
a. First-Cycle Programme:
i. Certificate of academic qualification or – in case of foreign Applicants or Polish Applicants who obtained their certificate
of academic qualification outside Poland – an equivalent translated into Polish (by a sworn translator from the list of sworn translators of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland). Applicants who are yet to receive the certificate of academic qualification may submit any document that confirms they have applied for such a qualification.
ii. Secondary education graduation certificate.
iii. Applicants who graduated from a primary or secondary music school are required to provide the graduation certificate.
b. Second-Cycle Programme:
i. First- or second-cycle studies diploma or a uniform master’s programme diploma. If you cannot provide a diploma yet, submit
any applicable formal confirmation. Foreign Applicants or Polish Applicants who obtained their academic qualification outside
Poland must submit an equivalent confirmation and a transcript of records translated into Polish (by a sworn translator from the
list of sworn translators of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland). A diploma or a formal recognition of a foreign
diploma must entitle the applicant to apply for second cycle studies within the country that issued the document.
ii. Applicants who graduated from a primary or secondary music school are required to provide the graduation certificate.
iii. Applicants are requested to submit a health evaluation statement on speech organs by a phoniatrist (excluding Academy first-cycle graduates in Vocal Studies).
5. If audition works are to be performed with accompaniment, Applicants are required to submit a paper copy of the scores for the accompanist or accompanist section as well as a digital copy of the score e-mailed to: rekrutacja@amuz.edu.pl at least a week before the entrance exam.
6. Entrance exams to all courses rely on auditions. Detailed admission procedures are regulated in the Terms and Conditions of the Application and Admissions Process.
7. The application fee is non-refundable.
8. Each specialisation under a major or majors requires a separate application including a set of documents and forms, and additional application fees.
