The Summer Stage at The I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań is a concert cycle organized for over 30 years by The Foundation of the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań in collaboration with The I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music with financial support from the City of Poznań. Subsequent editions of the cycle were hosted during the summer months—in July and August (originally hailed as “Summer Town Hall Concerts”)—in the Renaissance Hall of Poznań City Hall (in collaboration with the National Museum in Poznań), in the White Hall of the Poznań City Hall on Plac Kolegiacki Square (in 2006), only to return in the 2000s to the concert halls of the Academy of Music—the Stefan Stuligrosz Auditorium, the “Olimpia” Musical Theatre at ul. Grunwaldzka 22 (2021 and 2022 editions), and the Aula Nova Auditorium. The concerts feature students, teachers, and graduates of Poznań Academy of Music, and an essential component of each concert is a professional commentary on the performed works. The Summer Stage concerts at the Academy of Music are extremely popular and very well-received by music lovers, as evidenced by nearly 100% attendance at every event in each successive cycle.
